Moroder Haus in the beautiful mountain resort of Mayrhofen in Austria is a newly renovated (2014) villa from the 19th century with a long artistic tradition. This house is named after the famous artist Prof. Alba Moroder,
a personal friend of Pope Benedict XVI, who lived and created here his sculptures, which also decorate center of Mayrhofen.
The house stands out for its unique location in the city center with its many shops and restaurants, yet in a quiet area near the forest with hiking and cross-country hiking trails. 5 minutes walk from the house is also mini golf, water park, skating, children's playground, soccer field and many other attractions. The skibus stop is just a few steps from the house. The ski lift to Penken can also be reached by walk. Moroder Haus is located one hour's drive from the international airport of Innsbruck.

Moroder Haus is located in the center of Mayrhofen in the heart of the Zillertal Alps. Mayrhofen offers a variety of sports and relaxation in every season. Lovers of hiking and cycling here in the summer will find many hiking trails around the mountain dams and alpine ridges. Winter attracts mainly skiers to explore one of the best ski resorts in Austria. Twenty minutes away by car or bus from Mayrhofen is Hintertux glacier where skiing is possible also in the summer months. Mayrhofen offers many cultural activities year-round, there take place concerts, shows, exhibitions and folk festivals as well. In the autumn, the traditional feast "cow parade" (Almabtrieb) takes place here. During this feast adorned cows from the mountain ridges passes Mayrhofen to their winter homes in the Zillertal valley.
